Sensors → PLCField & Control Layer
Rig equipment, ABB drives and Remote I/O stations interface directly with the Main PLC (Siemens) through control panels and industrial networks. Field sensors for pressure, level, proximity, electrical and gas detection feed real-time signals to the PLC, where raw process and energy parameters are consolidated and validated.

Telegraf pollingData Acquisition Layer
A Telegraf plugin, hosted in the Docker Desktop Toolbox environment, talks exclusively to the Main PLC (Siemens). It periodically polls tagged process and energy data over configured industrial protocols and forwards it to the time-series database.

Time-series DBData Storage Layer
InfluxDB runs as a containerized service in the same Docker Desktop Toolbox on the Engineering Station Remote Desktop. Every data point is stored with a precise timestamp and its equipment or process tag name, enabling accurate historical trending and performance analysis.

Grafana + FluxVisualization & Analytics Layer
Grafana, also a Docker container in the Engineering Station environment, queries InfluxDB using Flux queries. Multiple queries are combined to render dashboards, trends, gauges, KPIs and status indicators on the Energy Dashboard UI.

Secured LAN / VPNDeployment & Access
The full stack — Telegraf, InfluxDB and Grafana — runs in Docker Desktop Toolbox inside the Engineering Station Remote Desktop. Users reach the dashboards over the secured rig LAN/VPN with role-based access control, giving operators, supervisors and management controlled visibility.

Python Software — Well Test Analysis for the Central Well in Direct Line Drive Injection Patterns
Tables and graphs of dimensionless well pressure, average pressure and pressure derivative (normal and log) against dimensionless producing time were generated with the developed Python software. Muskat, Horner, Miller-Dyes-Hutchinson, MBH and derivative plots were presented and discussed for drawdown and build-up analysis.
